Arrive San Jose where you will be met and transferred to the Hotel Presidente* close to an Jose's Central Plaza.

Day in San Jose. Overnight Hotel Presidente.
Day 3

You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Pacific Coast to join the liveaboard.
Set sail for Cocos.
Day 4

Onboard en route to Cocos.
Arrive at Cocos Island during the night.
Days 5 - 11

Diving around Cocos Island.
Day 12
(B,L,D)
En route back to the Costa Rican mainland.
Day 13

Arrive Costa Rica mainland.
Transfer back to San Jose and Hotel Presidente*.
PM: Briefing by group leader about Turtle Conservation in Costa Rica.
Day 14

For those flying straight home following the diving at Cocos, you will be transferred privately to San Jose international airport for your flight home.

Those continuing to the Tortuguero National Park will leave the hotel early and head east through the Central Highlands and down to the coast at the Tortuguero Canal.
Transfer to motorized canoe and head north to rainforest lodge.
Visit turtle museum in Tortuguero village to learn about monitoring programmes and anti-poaching operations.
PM: Presentation about the wildlife of the Tortuguero National Park.
Optional guided night walk along protected turtle nesting zones.
Day 15

Starting at 6am, full day exploring the Tortuguero NP for wildlife.
Optional guided night walk along protected turtle nesting zones.
Day 16

After breakfast, head back to San Jose.
Overnight in San Jose.
Day 17
