This itinerary can be rearranged to suit your timings and interests.
Day 1 (on route) Fly London -Bogotá You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel in the old town of Bogotá for a two night stay.
Day 2 (B) The old city remains intact, art works and building have been preserved well in many places and there are art collections, museums, libraries, theatres a plenty to see.
(With an additional day in Bogotá one can visit the salt mines of Zipaquirá, where you will find a whole cathedral built inside the salt mines).
Day 3 (B) You will be met at your hotel and taken to the airport Fly: Bogotá – Cartagena
Upon arrival you will be met at the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to beautiful Cartagena for your stay.
In the afternoon, you will be met at your hotel and taken on a guided half day guided walk through the old town. Cartagena with its Caribbean setting boasts unrivalled beauty, location and fascinating history. It is also a designated World Heritage site.
Day 4 (B) In the morning you will be met at your hotel and taken out to the fort that defends Cartagena and up to the La Popa Monastery where you get amazing views over the city and its relationship with the Caribbean beyond.
Day 5-6 (B, D) You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the harbour to catch your boat to Isla Baru, you will be accompanied by an English speaking guide for this trip. Upon arrival at Isla Baru, you will be taken to your Hotel where you will be staying overnight. The island hotel offers beach time relaxation. Day 7 (B) In the morning you will take the boat back to Cartagena. You will be collected at the jetty and taken back to your hotel, for your final night in Cartagena.
