Recommended itinerary
The sailing elements of this itinerary are recommendations only. It is important that you consider this itinerary in light of prevailing weather conditions, your personal interests, sailing experience and advice given at your pre-sail briefing in the Seychelles.
Day 1 - Mahe

Arrive Seychelles where you will be met upon arrival and taken to your boutique hotel on the beautiful beach of Beau Vallon Bay.
Day at leisure to enjoy Mahe.
Day 2 – Mahe

A chance for complete relaxation on Mahe Island.
Day 3 – Mahe to Praslin
(B)
You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the Inter Island ferry terminal.
Transfer by speed ferry to Praslin.
You will be met upon arrival when you can immediately hand your luggage to your driver guide who will take you to one of the natural highlights of the Seychelles: the Vallée de Mai UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will enjoy a private guided exploration of this unique forest which is the only native home of the world’s largest nut: the Coco de Mer.
From the Vallée de Mai you will be driven to your hotel. This hotel enjoys a secluded position beneath Praslin’s second unique natural forest area and is home to largest population of critically endangered Seychelles Black Parrots.
Day 4 Praslin

You can either relax at the hotel today, take a walk into the black parrot forest, go sea kayaking, or enjoy a complimentary visit to Anse Lazio: a beach often touted as the best in the world.
Sunsets at your hotel are fantastic and the air is filled with Seychelles Fruit Bats.
Day 5 – Start of your Yacht Charter

In your own time, you can take breakfast, check out and arrange a taxi at the front desk to take you to the marina for the start of your charter. You will be given a full briefing about sailing in the Seychelles and shown onboard your yacht.
Days 5 – 12 8-day Yacht Charter
Where you decide to sail is entirely your choice and you can discuss the options in detail at your briefing. The links below will take you to two recommended sailing itineraries designed around the usual prevailing winds during the Seychelles’ two distinct seasons.

Day 12 Praslin to Bird Island
(D)
You will need to deliver your yacht back by 9am.
Ferry back to Mahe.
Transfer to airport.
Flight Mahe to Bird Island which is at the far north of the Seychelles group of islands.
Upon arrival at Bird Island you will be taken to your lodge bungalow.
Afternoon to explore Bird Island.
Day 13 Bird Island
(B,L,D)
Full day to explore Bird Island.
Day 14 Bird Island – Mahe
(B)
You will fly out of Bird Island in the early afternoon in time to meet your international flight back to UK.
Dep Mahe.
Flights
Flights to / from Seychelles are usually overnight so add 2 days to your overall time away from UK. Most of our direct flights from London with Air Seychelles depart late on Fridays and Sundays land back in UK on Fridays and Sundays. Regional connections from around UK and Northern Ireland can be arranged, as can alternative carriers including Emirates, Qatar Airways and Air France.
