Day 1
Arrive in Kota Kinabalu.  Private transfer from airport to the Jesselton Hotel - a tastefully preserved boutique hotel

Day 2
Guided exploration of Gaya and Manukan Islands in the Tunku Abdul Marine Park.  Overnight at the Jesselton (B,L)

Day 3
Early morning flight to Layang Layang and commencement of diving activity (B,L,D)

Days 4-7
Daily diving on and around the sites of the Layang Layang atoll (B,L,D)

Day 8
Depart Layang Layang on early morning flight to Kota Kinabalu and take connecting flight to Sandakan.  You will be transferred for your overnight stay to your jungle lodge nestled in the forest home of the orangutan.  A guided walk is arranged in the evening for you to spot nocturnal wildlife. (B,D).

Day 9
Transfer to Sandakan jetty for the hour and a half speedboat ride to Lankayan Island.  Commence diving activity upon arrival (B,L,D)

Days 10-11
Diving around the sites of Lankayan (B,L,D)

Day 12
Depart Lankayan early morning and travel back to Sandakan by speedboat where you will be met by your naturalist guide and taken by boat to the Turtle Island Marine Park (B,L,D)

Day 13
Return to Sandakan by boat, and venture into the Sepilok Forest Reserve home of the orangutans to visit the rehabilitation centre.  Overnight stay in the nearby jungle lodge previously visited on Day 8 (B,L,D)

Day 14
Private overland transfer to Semporna and then on by speedboat to your waterside lodge on Kapalai or Mabul where diving activity around Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai begins (B,L,D)

Day 15-16
Diving at the sites of the Semporna Group of islands including Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai (B,L,D)

Day 17
Transfer back by speedboat to Semporna then on to Tawau airport for your afternoon flight back to Kota Kinabalu where overnight is spent at the Jesselton Hotel (B)

Day 18
Private transfer to airport for flight home and depart Kota Kinabalu (B)
